Elms+King launched in 2012 after founders Louise King and Rebecca Elms were in search of a more affordable bag that was design focused, classic and timeless.
Elms+King, is the design duo’s second line, which was created to meet the needs of a broader customer base. Maintaining their high standards of design, the pair experimented with alternative materials and ahead-of-trend colour and patterns to offer a new range of beautiful handbags and wallets.
Arlington Milne was their first creation and has launched thirteen ranges since 2010 across the seasons and has grown from strength to strength, with their range of leather bags, expanding to include wallets and ladies accessories.
With both brands firmly established in the market Louise & Rebecca looked for their next challenge: a design-orientated store that would bring a Melbourne feel to Sydney. Looking for an opportunity to showcase only Australian designers The Hunted’s first store opened in 2013.
Since then, The Hunted, was invited to pop up in Chifley Plaza (CBD) and The Hunted has since opened another store.
Deciding to expand the brand into the global market, Arlington Milne and Elms & King launched into the USA market in 2015. Catapulting the brand onto the international stage with great success when OPRAH chose the Arlington MILNE large wallet for her ‘FAVOURITE THINGS 2015’ list.
